Arsenal Audio - Any thoughts or comments?
I am intrgued by the new procut lineup of Arsenal Audio(an API
product) Apparently, these units are not based on the traditional API
product design. Wondering if anybody here has thoughts on this new
venture.

I talked with them a bit at the NAMM show. It's just a different line of
gear, because it was time for a new product. It's quite unlike API, more
like ATI. Transformerless, so more "transparent." No excuse for the
color scheme.
I suggested that perhaps the preamp didn't have enough gain for the
ribbon mics that people might be tempted to use with it for that
"vintage" sound. They are giving some thought to making a higher gain
model specifically for that purpose.
Does the world need another preamp and equalizer? How many you got now?

Interesting Mike. More transparent. I agree, there are many good
transparent preamps on the market now. Another one?
