 Behringer Eurorack UB2222FX-pro OVERHEATING?
My Behringer Eurorack UB2222FX-pro
http://tinyurl.com/56per7

worked fine for 3+years.

Now internal FX processor started going blank
after 10-15 minutes of power on.

FX processor is located directly above power supply
unit. Very close. I took the bottom off and ran the mixer
with power supply far away from FX processor - worked
fine for hours.

I installed 4" 127V fan into the bottom of the mixer (had to
drill lots of holes in the bottom cover). And it works fine
for now.

Anybody wants to get a crack on that?

Do the power supplies (switching) run hotter with age?

Is that Power supply or FX processor that overheating?

(This post was in alt.pro.live-sound as well, and probably
other groups.)

What is the braindead software that keeps multiposting to
more than one group instead of crossposting?

You should not put separate posts of the same question. Crosspost
instead, please.

Nothing wrong with the software per se. It's user error.

Or, a user who knows that cross-posting isn't well received on some
groups. Against their charter, actually.

No one cares any more as long as you don't post to too many (or stupidly
unrelated ones). And the groups in question are not those type, anyway.

It is thoughtless and impolite to post the same question to 5
different audio groups with decent traffic.

The same type of people send every joke they get to every damn email
address they have. Then they get upset when you ask them to stop. I feel
like asking them for their phone number, then making a recorded call at
odd hours telling the latest joke I heard....

Average operational life for most Behringer products is just a shade over
one year.

You've gotten your money's worth. Buy a new one, that's the deal with
Behringer.

Funny then that all my Behringer products, some 40-50 or more, are still
working and all over 12 months old.
I guess you don't actually own any, or don't know how to care for anything.

Although of average quality Behringers seems reliable and surely only a
fool would claim otherwise as with all copies time improves the quality ?
