Final Buying Decision ~ Protools or Cubase?
For PC home computer studio audio and midi. Probably used with
Presonus interface, Yamaha keyboard and midi controller and M-Audio
Black Box for Guitar.

I kind of know Cubase, but had a lot of trouble keeping it correctly
connected with EMU 0404, which I'm getting away from.

Thoughts, ideas and suggestions welcome!

Thanks!

Get protools. A digi001 interface (on PCI) cost 150$ and it gives you 18
channels of I/O plus MIDI.
You can use protools 6.4 with it.
It's fantastic for the price!!!!!

Get Cubase. They are both equally bad ;)

With Cubase, you can use Protools interfaces, but not the reverse.
