 Nakamichi Stasis Amplifier
I've had this amp for about 20 years, bought it new. It was a great
one that finally went dead, no power. Anyone know where in NYC I
might bring it for service? Anyone have one of these that went dead,
experience?

Thanks.

As you probably know, Nelson Pass designed the amplifier in that unit (as i
recall). Well worth fixing. If Nak can;t fix it, MAYBE (long shot) Nelson at
Pass Labs can???

What model is this? Rest assured that this is just an
audio amplifier; anyone who's ever repaired an audio
amplifier can repair this one too.

I still have some Nak schematics and can get access to most
others, but it's hardly necessary. The layout is (because
these things tend to converge) pretty obvious. But let me know.

All the best fortune,

These are very standard amplifiers, not particularly difficult to work
on. I'd check the main fuse, and if that's okay, take it to your local
TV repair shop.
