Source For LDC Capsules?
Hello,
Can anyone give me a list of non-Chinese LDC capsule makers? I'm
building a mic, and want to know what are the best sounding capsules
being made right now. Thanks!

A-T, Neumann, Gefell, AKG, Sony, Sanken, and Shure all actually make real
capsules in-house, though. So do some of the smaller companies. Getting
them to sell you a replacement capsule, though, is nontrivial.
What best-sounding means is a good question, though, in a world where the
whole point of the microphone is the off-axis aberration.

And RODE. Though if you are rascist you may not like ozzies as well as
chinks.
