Vocal Processors and Harmonizers

This is probably the wrong place to ask this but I've been thinking of
acquiring a new vocal processor. I would like one that does harmonies
but I'm also interested in the more basic effects like reverb and
echo. Pretty much at this point it looks like it's between the
Digitech Vocalist and the TC Helicon Voice series.

At this point I'm kind of leaning toward the Digitech because it
sounds intriguing the way it can glean the proper harmonies and scale
from the chords you play on guitar. Also I saw some uncomplimentary
reviews about the Helicon regarding durability. Anyone have an
opinion on these or have a chance to try one out?
