It needs to be loud enough to be heard over the band. Tis can very depending
on your situation.

I feel 100 Watts is about right in most cases.

One should be sufficient

Define good. The following is my best guess as to price/performance
http://www.traynoramps.com/products.asp?type=9&cat=57&id=375
Behringer has 6 models. scroll down to "keyboard amplification"

An alternative to a dedicated keyboard amp/speaker combo would be a wedge
monitor plus a powered "head" (mix pack)
such as Yorkville's MP6D
http://www.yorkville.com/products.asp?type=31&cat=13 or Behringer PMP860M.
These can double as small PA systems when needed.

Maybe a pair of headphones?

Lack of full range sound will drive most keyboardists nuts. Likewise built
in distortion and overdrive effects. Guitar amp input tends to have gain
sufficient for guitar pickups while keyboard often have much higher levels
of output. Often I encounter keyboards with only a headphone out.

Hi there,
I don't believe in Keyboard amps anymore. Unless you need several
inputs, I think you're much better of with an active stage monitor. I
have a pair of active 12" FBT fullrange speakers ("Jolly" something),
that can be put on stands as a small PA, or on the floor as monitor
(wedge-shape). They are pretty light-weight and the sound is exceptional
for that price class, at least in my opinion.
Depending on where you are, other brands might be more interesting, but
I think that active monitors are a good option anyway.
Best,
Boris
