streaming audio(codec maybe?)
HI folks,
Looking at offering services to streaming audio clients for conventions etc.
Reliability is a *big* factor for this, and need interfacing for good +4
balanced ins.
IF not stand alone device for the rack and requiring software linux os
preferred.
Looking for recommendations and suggestions.
REliability ease of setup and audio quality main factors.
Regards,
Richard

I can recommend the Barix Instreamer. http://www.barix.com/
It's small, low cost, and has proven to be trouble free after over 12 months
of continuous operation.
