It wasn't on the list, but what the heck...

At the supermarket I picked up my first "no-salt added" bag of Utz (brand
name) potato chips. First potato chips of the year!

What wasn't on YOUR list in your house recently?

Just back from supermarket; the only thing I can think of that is now in
house that wasn't on the list is a container of Ted Drewes Vanilla Frozen
Custard.

When purchased at the supermarket it is available only in cups; vanilla,
chocolate or strawberry.

Ted Drewes is a small, only 2 or 3 locations, local favorite that has very
long lines on summer evenings; the specialties are all frozen custard based.
Local legend has it that DQ's Blizzard was inspired by Drewes "Concrete".
The fact the Southern Products, one of the largest softserve ingredient
suppliers (and DQs dominant source) in the US is also local.

A soft cheese called something like "cambozola," labeled "triple cream
blue cheese." It was pretty tasty on Triscuits. Not as strongly
flavored as other blue cheeses, more interesting than brie. -aem

When I read that, I heard Curly (of the 3 Stooges) saying it in my head.

Try it with pear. I ate half of mine with a tartish apple. Wasn't
bad, but I'm getting a pear for the rest of it.

Wensleydale cheese with cranberries.

I had it at a friend's house not too long ago and really enjoyed it. It
was an impulse buy.

The plan was to have a little after dinner last night - but I totally
forgot I bought it until right this minute.

I guess I will have it tonight instead while watching "Waitress".

DH is cooking tonight - probably steak tips and maybe some grilled
broccoli.

We LOVE cambozola. (CAMembert / gorgonZOLA). Carin seriously goes into
a state of cheesegasm when I put it in salad.

It's a bastard child of Camembert and Gorgonzola. A "designer - cheese".
